“Play In Our Sandbox”
EHR Software Lab Training
To All OCC HIT Graduates,
OCC is pleased to provide HIT graduates an opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world experience with EHR software currently being used right here in Orange County.
The HIT program is partnering with a five EHR software vendors who will each provide three training sessions over a three week period. Classes will be taught by a software vendor representative.
We strongly recommend that you commit to attending at least one vendor for all three training sessions in order to understand the entire EHR implementation process.
The first sandbox series of three sessions will cover Office Ally software, and will take place on Thursday evenings, February 9th, 16th and 23rd from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. at OCC.
Seats are limited and the demand is high. The location will be provided to the first 38 students who RSVP to Deanna Despot by February 6, 2012.
We will notify you within a few weeks regarding the next sandbox session taking place in April. There will be three more additional sandboxes taking place in May and/or June.
On behalf of the OCC HIT team, I want to thank MemorialCare and the Orange County Regional Extension Center (COREC) for assisting us in arranging this non-certificated vendor software training opportunity.
Please RSVP by February 6, 2012 to Reserve your Seat
